The present study aims at providing a proper aeroacoustic characterization of the single-passenger configuration of the quadrotor concept vehicle designed by NASA, through an experimental campaign in the new anechoic chamber at Politecnico di Milano. A scaled model of the quadrotor CRM was designed from scratch and manufactured to be exploited to collect aerodynamic force and acoustic measurements in hover condition, with a particular focus on rotor-on-rotor interaction phenomena by adopting a breakdown approach where rotors were progressively added.
