dc.description.abstractThis work aims to investigate the aerodynamic interaction of a of a typical wing-mounted propulsion system represen- tative of a typical eVTOL geometry. The study combines experimental campaigns with a numerical model to extend test results and develop a comprehensive model for exploring configurations with multiple propellers, typical of new eVTOL and distributed propulsion aircraft designs. The experimental data and numerical simulations provide insights into the aerodynamic interactions between wings and propellers, crucial for optimizing the performance and efficiency of such configurations in various flight conditions. The findings contribute to advancing the understanding and design capabilities necessary for future developments in distributed propulsion aircraft technologies.
